Description
Prestigious noble palace, with 15th-century origins, set in the green countryside of Brescia.
The mansion has been well preserved over the centuries and is strategically located to reach Milan and Lake Garda.
The villa has undergone some modifications over time, including an extension in the 20th century but respecting its original style and scenic structure with a 16th-century portico and an exposed brick tower.
In the past, it was one of seventy castles on the border between the Duchy of Milan and the Republic of San Marco. In 1701, it was damaged by a French attack but was later restored by architect Luigi Comolli in the early 20th century, commissioned by Countess Luisa Martinengo Villagana in Medolago Albani.
The mansion has a large portico with a courtyard of honor, decorated with paintings from the late 16th century. There is also a scenic balcony overlooking a large park with decorative trees, extending over an acre and a half that offers an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
Inside the mansion, there are opulent halls, fascinating corridors and numerous original historical details, including frescoes, coffered ceilings and elegant fireplaces. Overall, the mansion retains its lavish and historic character.
